Comfort Kit Day For Comer Kids Participant Guide

Use this guide to help set up and share your donation page.

Donation Page Setup Instructions

To setup a donation page to share with your family, friends, and arch nemesis:

  1. Go to the Comfort Kit campaign Members page: https://go.rallyup.com/comfort-kit-day-comer-2017/Members

  2. Find your block on the Members page by scrolling or using the Search box at the top right of the members list.

  3. To add a profile photo:

    1. Click the silhouette in the middle of the block with your name.

    2. Select a photo from your computer to represent yourself and click Open.

    3. Crop the image if you want, then click Upload.

  4. Click the 3 vertical dots at the top right of your block then Create Full Page.

  5. Give your page a title:

    1. Click Click here to create the title for your page.

    2. Enter <Your Name>’s Comfort Kits For Comer

  6. Give your page a description:

    1. Click Click here to enter a description of why you’re raising money.

    2. Enter Help me raise $100 to make 5 kits for the kids at Comer Children's Hospital

  7. Give your page an image:

    1. Save this image to your computer: http://chicagolootdrop.org/files/rallyup_participant_banner_2017.jpg

    2. Click the blue Change Image button below your title and description.

    3. Select the image you just saved image and click Open.

    4. Click Upload.

  8. Ignore Change Background Image.

  9. Give your page a header:

    1. Click Enter header.

    2. Enter Comfort Kit Day 2017.

  10. Give your page a description:

    1. Click Enter description.

    2. Enter I’m working with Chicago Loot Drop to make comfort kits for the kids at University Of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital.  Each kit contains games, comic books, puzzles, coloring books, LEGOs, and more.  On March 19th, I want to make 5 kits and need your help raising the funds to cover them.  They are $20 each so I need help raising $100.

  11. Share!  The address in your browser’s address bar is your personal donation page link.  Use it in the following social media posts and emails to share your donation page.
