Comfort Kit Day For Comer Kids is back for its 4th year. We’re raising money for and assembling nerdy boxes of goodies for kids at University Of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital. Join us as we return to the Revolution Tap Room (3340 N Kedzie) on Sunday, February 10th at 2pm to help support these kids while drinking great local brews. Based on how much you raise, you’ll build or help create comfort kits filled with games, comic books, puzzles, coloring books, LEGO, and more.

Our goal: comfort kits for at least 120 different young patients at Comer Children’s. The materials for each kit cost roughly $20, so that’s the amount you need to raise for each kit you want to assemble.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Register yourself or a team. We ask each individual or team to raise at least $100: enough for 5 comfort kits. Whomever raises the most kits will win a pair of 3-day passes to C2E2!

  2. Share your fundraising page with family, friends, and arch nemeses asking them to contribute to your heroic, selfless efforts.

  3. Join us at the Revolution Tap Room (3340 N Kedzie) in Avondale on Sunday, February 10th at 2pm to assemble the kits you raised money for! If you can’t attend comfort kit assembly in person, the rest of us there will put together the kits you raised money for on your behalf.

Chicago Loot Drop will provide all of the supplies, and our friends at Revolution will provide your first beer for everyone who registers and attends. When all comfort kits are assembled, everyone interested is invited to play party games!
